Le plan annoncé par Ben Bradshaw, le ministre de la santé, est né d’une volonté de donner une possibilité aux patients des hopitaux nationaux concernant le choix qu’ils font de se faire soigner dans un hôpital privé ou public.
4th §: “Hospitals […] will not be able to indulge in discrediting their rival NHS hospitals.”
Les hôpitaux n’auront pas la possibilité de céder à une déconsidération concernant leurs rivaux, les hôpitaux nationaux.
5th §: “Hospitals will also be able to send direct marketing to their patients and no marketing "should cause fear or distress without good reason."
Les hôpitaux auront la possibilité d’envoyer directement du marketing, mais aucune forme de marketing ne devrait être la source de peur ou de souffrance.
